The large double sink and the faucet are Franke (RGX160, the ‘Regatta’). Franke is known for its durability and high quality stainless steel that withstands the weather and the tropical salt and humidity.
The appliances are Thermador and Bosch, both high-end, quality brands. There is a Bosch dish washer and enormous Thermador build-in fridge (which gets many ooh’s and aah’s). The 30 inch Thermador range has a convection oven, star shaped burners for more efficient heating, and special extra-low simmer features that keeps the food hot while you jump in the pool or your coffee warm all day long. We chose an all-gas range because the cooking is more precise, more economical and cooking will not be hindered by power outages.
The bathrooms have white porcelain sinks, toilets and bath. The cabinetry is 100% plywood with BLUM hinges and drawer rails. The upstairs shower has been replaced in 2014 with a high quality extra large showerhead; the down stairs shower is of the same quality.
This large room upstairs has a magnificent, full ocean view. You can stay in bed all day and not be bored, looking at the boats passing and the changing colors of the water. It has direct access through large sliding doors to the big upstairs balcony.

Villa Oceana is located in Pelican. This is a friendly, residential neigbourhood with many families. Many people walk with their dogs, go running or for a hike. The Villa has beach access within 5 minutes of walking. The area is a 'cul de sac' so it is relatively low in traffic. It is centrally located, close to the airport and both bridges, but close to Philipsburg as well.The house is about one kilometer from the main road in Simpson Bay.
The views are magnificent from many places on the road, which always makes it a joy to come back home.
